About Renault

Renault was founded in India in 2005. It started its journey in partnership with Mahindra & Mahindra group. Renault India Pvt. Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of Renault S.A. In the first half of February 2008 Renault-Nissan set up a manufacturing plant in Chennai, after the Renault and Nissan Alliance. Renault Design India is the first vehicle design studio which has been set up by a foreign manufacturer in India and that was established in Mumbai in September 2008.

Renault currently manufactures three cars in India which are;
-Lodgy
-Duster
-Kwid
-Kaptur, is scheduled to be launched in the last leg of 2017.

The first car to be launched by Renault was the Fluence in 2011 and with its arrival, it paved a way for Renault cars in the Indian market. After receiving a warm response on entering the Automobile league, Renault continued to bring in better and newer vehicles. In no time it became one of the most popular, loved and trusted brands in this country. The technology adopted by Renault is like no other and their motto is to prevent accidents. The equipment’s also make the driver feel secure and powerful with the automatic management. The driver assistance system ensure to compensate for driver error and provides protection in unforeseen situations.

Renault is currently present in 125 countries and in India alone it had managed to acquire 190 dealerships by the end of 2015. Renault’s popularity continued to grow with its associations and every association marketed this company leaving an impact on the general masses. They also continue to have brand ambassadors that are popular, further increasing people’s interest in Renault. Along with manufacturing vehicles that are so reliable, Renault also believes in giving back, therefore they have started an initiative called Driving Smiles which is dedicated to spreading festive cheer to the less fortunate children, during Christmas. They also conducted a drive to a village to celebrate Diwali with the local community.
